Ten years at Rajhans Bonista — and 60 since the foundation stone
A note on the legacy that began in 1967 in a small Surat setup, and the office on Ghod Dod Road where we have now spent a decade.

This month, KASCO marked ten years at Rajhans Bonista on Ghod Dod Road. Fifty-nine, if you count from the day the foundation stone was laid in 1967.
A small set-up with an outsized idea
The firm began as Ashvin Sanghavi & Co — a small office in Surat, started by Late CA Ashvin Sanghavi. The idea was simple, and we still build on it: a professional firm that serves its clients with pure professionalism, accuracy, honesty and sincerity.
That foundation took the firm to a leading position in South Gujarat. Ashvin Sanghavi was, in his lifetime, widely recognised as an authority on the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950.
A decade in our current office
Ten years ago we moved to the 10th floor of Rajhans Bonista on Ghod Dod Road. The building made room for the practice as it grew — across audit, taxation, virtual CFO and advisory; across listed corporates, healthcare, multiplexes, pharma, NGOs, and the diamond and textile houses that anchor this city.
It is also where, in 2022, the partner team welcomed an All India Rank 3 at CA Final, and where Articles and team leaders sit four desks away from the partners they work with. We think that distance matters.
What 60 years has taught us
A handful of things, in no particular order:
- Compounding works in trust, not only capital. Clients refer clients, and articles return as partners.
- Disclosure prevents litigation. Most adversarial outcomes start as a missed footnote.
- Ethics scale. The firm is registered with and peer-reviewed by ICAI. That standing is the floor, not the ceiling.
- Talent compounds when given room. Each core team is led by someone with autonomy, accountability and a remit to develop the next group of leaders.
